First big question, how much u want to spend. U can buy curtain almost anywhere. JCPenny, Dillard's, Sears, Foley's are probably most expensive. More moderate Linen's and Things. Cheaper but still good quality depending on brand K-Mart, Wal-Mart. If no one have what u looking for try making them and no one will have exactly what u have.

I like buying curtains, blinds and drapes at JC Penney. For over 40 years. Never a problem. The lace ones....just wash and quickly hang back up....wonderful. I am still using curtains bought in 1991.

If you live in the Northeast or Mid Atlantic try Country Curtains at the local stores. However, they do have a great web site( that will deliver almost anywhere I think) at
http://www.countrycurtains.com/

They are the next best thing to custom made drapes and curtains without the expense!

You can also get great good to excellent quality curtains at JC Penny in the store or online

They also do made to measure window treatments.

Have fun shopping! :)

I get mine at Goodwill and other thrift stores. You would not believe the things people donate when they decide to change their decorating schemes. I have found some beautiful drapes and curtains this way and at a tenth of the price!

Laura Ashley do a fantastic made to measure service as well as a variety of readymades. They will even come out and measure for you if needed as part of their design service and can even arrange for your curtains to be fitted. I dont think you have to pay for this service if you buy your curtains from them and they have some beautiful fabrics both traditional and contemporary.

Pick your style and scan or email it to me.
Take pictures of the windows.
I will give you directions on how to measure the windows.
Describe how you'd like the curtain to hang/ fall.
Decide on how you would like to install the curtain - rods, tab tops, cornice, etc.
You will be given recommendations for fabric types, a price quote and estimated completion date.

Pick and purchase your fabric in the amounts quoted and ship them to me along with 50% deposit (can be in escrow).

Curtains will be shipped back to you, but you must get them installed.
