I agree with Rosie, it is a sedative and will affect everyone differently. I would try it first at night when you don't have anything to do the next day and maybe try just a half pill first. For sure don't take it if you have an important exam the next day until you see how it will affect you

Watch out! You can build a tolerance to it real real fast and you need more. I know. I was up to 6mg a day, now the doc has tapered me to 1mg. AND IT HARD. The withdrawl is ungodly.
Look up the "Ashton Manual" website and you will not want to take them ever again.

it's a long acting sedative - some people can handle them better than others - i can take 2mg with little effect but have a friend that if she takes a half a mg. will pass out

i take 1 mg at night and .5 mg in the morning... that is point five...not five whole mg...

i would have no trouble studying... it does help me sleep at night..... it really helps with my anxiety......which if my mind isn't preoccupied with worries...that makes it easier to focus on other things...

i have been using it for over a year at least.......
