It's interesting that you quote that verse to illustrate that the Bible should not be taken seriously. Is it not a noble goal? Does it not speak to how we ought to live? There is nothing "false" about the concept to answer insult with kindness.
While you can sling insults at Christians and then rant when they respond in kind, it does not change the truth of the verse. Therefore your logic is flawed: You argue that because Christians do not always live up to this standard, the standard is false. Yet you are not evaluating the standard, but merely those who seek to accomplish it.
Is the law that limits driving speeds bad just because people will occasionally exceed the speed limit?
Is a goal of peace false just because some would wage war?
Is a law against murder wrong because someone shot the store clerk in a robbery?
You must judge a rule/law/truth by its truthfullness, not judge whether it is true based on the actions of those subject to that law.

What you rightly point out comes from that very verse. The slander begins with the unbeliever that hates God. He then takes that frustration out on the believers of God. Can you blame the people that can only put up with so much?
So youre mad at people that dont put up with the insults heaped on them because they believe in God? Maybe you should focus more on your own actions and since youre quoting the Bible, start following it and listening to God!

We don't.
We answer questions truthfully and honestly with accurate biblical chapter and verse.
It's the athiests who slander and belittle us because no matter how many facts we produce, passages in the bible to confirm our beliefs or personal testimony.
It's not our fault so many people have made up their minds and don't want to be confused with facts.

Any examples at all...?
No?
That's what I thought. You're dismissed.

Because Christians are not perfect, just forgiven. However, if you wish to debate the lies and errors, I am perfectly willing to take you on in the kind, gentle manner I have been taught to. It is possible to defend the faith without stooping to namecalling, personal attacks, or other such childishness.

Because christians dont like to be exposed for the frauds and liars they truly are. They deny that they are their own worst enemies.
