FYI, Tim, this nation was not founded by christians. It was founded by a whole polyglot of deists, theists, as well as non believers.
You are fooling yourself if you honestly believe that.

Through missionary activities, prosyletizing, propoganda, imprinting their children, and fear. Oh and don't forget Christians homeschooling their children to protect them from aquiring any outside information with which to draw their own conclusions about the nature of religion.
And FYI to the other responder, this nation was never Christian. Read my other posts for the facts man. GOD is not mentioned once in our Constitution. The damn penny wasn't even invented yet when our country was founded and neither was the phrase, "one nation under God". I'll assume that dude was homeschooled.

The nation was founded by Christians. You apparently are not one, but you benefit from their tolerance of your position. I am sure you would not have been given as much consideration in just about any other nation on the planet.
