Blow drying can be damaging to the hair, always use a spray on leave in conditioner to protect it, let it air dry for awhile, never use a brush when it is wet, it stretches the hair and can cause breakage, start styling with brush when hair is 90% dry, use a cool setting not hot, air drying is best but not always convenient, just follow these tips and u will have less damage to the hair

Yes, it can damage your hair. I blow dry my hair everyday, and my stylist just told me to make sure I have something in it when I'm blowdrying it to help coat and protect my hair. I put in a root lifter, but any kind of hair milk, cream, or pomeade will work--just not hairspray. The bond breaks the instant you put your hands through your hair, and is useless.

I blow dry my hair daily... it has split ends... but I think that looks better than walking around with a wet head.
