if anything gets worst then just go to the er
When to Seek Medical Care
Inflamed glands themselves are not a major concern, but if you have symptoms of some other condition, discuss this with your doctor.
Certain conditions warrant a call to your doctor:
If the swelling of the glands lasts for more than 2 weeks or you have any symptoms such as weight loss, night sweats, fatigue, or prolonged fever
If the glands are hard, fixed to the skin, or are growing rapidly
If you can feel swelling close to your collarbone or in the lower part of the neck
If the overlying skin is red and inflamed and you suspect an infection
The diagnosis of swollen glands rarely requires emergency hospital treatment. The exceptions to this include a growing infection of the skin that requires treatment, a severely infected lymph node that needs to be drained, or severe pain.

I have a cyst on my neck and went to the doctor. She did a biopsy and the results came back negative. She said some unlucky people get them. Make an appointment for the doctor, but don't freak out in the meantime. It more than likely is nothing. Good luck!

If it's under the skin and moves one way or the other when you touch it it's probably nothing. Kind of a ganglion thing. I presume painless? Sometimes hang around for several months or may be gone in a week. Check with the Doc though.

I dont think its an ingrown hair or anything like that, shes too young for that. Its best just to get her to the doc on Monday. Good thing you noticed it while its small like that. Its probly nothing, but best to get her in to be checked.

It could be ingrown hair, or just a small cyst, it could be nothing or it could be something, has she fallen lately?does it itch, hurt etc. I dont think anyone can tell you exactly what it is..I have one on my back, but the dr. said not to worry about it, it does hurt when pressed on but other then that its not a problem, Ive had mine for about 7 years...

I don't know! But make sure you do carry her Monday. It could be an ingrown hair focile, or just an internal pimple. Is it hard, or is it palable?
