Yes indeed!! The purpose of life, your life for example, is to reproduce, to create a new generation.
For the overall purpose of life, as in, What's the WHOLE point of it all?, according to christians you'd really have to ask God himself. He would be the only being who, having lived forever, would know.
I don't think even Christians put too much thought into this, getting to Heaven seems to be their answer but what about once your there. Okay, you've made it to Heaven, now what? You get to live an eternity of pointless existence....I don't know... but God sure has some 'splainin' to do.

Yes, God has a plan for each of us. The question is, will we listen and obey.

Our life on Earth is only practice, a test if you will. Just like any other test, we can pass or fail. If you read, learn and practice you will pass, but if you try to wing it OOPS, you fail. We need to read the Bible, pray, listen to the word of God and then put these things into practice in our lives. As we begin to do that, our lives, and the purpose for our life will become more clear to us.

The purpose of life is to search after an Exalted Being. It has been implanted in every human's nature to find a True Creator.

Life is a paradox. Life must kill other lifeforms to survive.
Humans could live without eating cattle, but we are natural preditors.

All animals have a purpose. Eg. Bee's pollinate flowers, helping them grow. Humans don't. We are an unbalance in nature.

If you don't believe in God then life really has no long term purpose. If you do believe in God, the purpose of life is to work for one's eternal salvation....to merit Heaven.

Not in itself no..............
any purpose to life is what you assign to it whether it is goal/ambition driven or has a religious significance.
If you say we are put on earth for a purpose then you imply a religious or superior being existence.
We occupy a cause and effect world which argues that there must be a reason for everything and its in our culture to ask why?
Maybe there is no why and therefore no purpose.
Most people find that unsatisfying and difficult to live with.
Me?........I can live with it...........and please no "you must find your life so unfulfilling ect". I don't,,,,,,,,and I'm very happy.

Life is an opportunity given us by God. He also gave us a purpose (that may vary person to person) for our lives; whether we choose to obey that purpose is up to us.
