As far as I'm concerned, what you learn from the world is what you become, and no one controls what we learn. Sure you can pick up a book, but whatever made you pick up that book was something forced upon you. If you don't believe in suffering then you might as well burn every book that's been written along with music and film. It's hypocritical to say evil exist when we are inspired by the misery of others. Everything should be considered sacred not just the pretty half.

Because God gave man free will. Animals don't have that freedom. If we're really tired, but have to go to work...we still go. Whereas, if an animal is tired...it just goes to sleep. We have thinking and reasoning ability that animals don't. Your free will let's you pick up a book...because you decide to read it. The Bible says "the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one." (1 John 5:19) Satan influences our free will to create evilness. Follow the link below. I think it will really help answer your question. It's an atricle entitled "Who Is Behind All Evil?"

Your headline question is radically different from the rest of what you say.
The answer to your headline question is, Because animals do not have a conscience, and they are not able to make choices based upon a moral code.
If you believe that you become what you learn, then you are a fatalist. Your statements indicate that you believe that people have no choices and are products of a random series of events.
In addition, if you believe that evil should be considered sacred, then you can add a side dish of satanism to your main entree of fatalism.
But how could a fatalist consider something--such as considering evil as being sacred--unless he or she read it in a book? That is, where is the agency to consider such thoughts if one is a mere product of what one has learned?
If you are a product of what you have learned, then your thoughts mean nothing to others, since they have not all learned exactly what you have learned and are not able to be open to it anyway.
You are operating within a closed circuit. I hope you find a way to open a window and allow fresh air to enter the room.

I beg to differ with you... we can control what we learn. That is called education. Garbage in garbage out. People overcome huge obstacles and acheive great heights. WE are influenced by everything around us but DISCIPLINE gives you control. One can never become a star athelete without it. If you just let life happen and do nothing to direct it, you get out exactly what you put into it.

Because animals arent created in the image of God. (They arent like God, humans are)
Animals cant sin because they have no knowledge of good and evil nor can they be educated or taught morality. They are very simple creatures God put on this earth for our pleasure, food, and antagonism.

People are evil because they can think logically. Animals just live day to day without a forethought.

Very interesting philosophy.
You have a long way to go to get those steeped in superstition to move away from them.
But, I must ask you, why do some suffer and others don't?

Well I think that "evil" as we define it does exist in animals. They kill each other for mates, territory, food and so on, they rape, steal and other things too. Maybe it is our own self aware and self important consciousness that causes us to define things as 'evil'.

There is no evil, only perception, and since we are no longer in a pitted struggle between nature we can build up sentience, culture, and perception.
