People should concentrate on the question if they can understand it. If not they should move on. I agree this is not a spelling B this is a place to come to find answers to your questions and to ask questions. If people don't like the way you spell or say something they could move on. But there is always going to be that person that just has to say something. Keep asking and let their comments fall off you like water off a ducks back.

there is after all a Check Spelling, on the right side of the space where one does the typing , it very easy to use, corrects all your spelling mistakes and your typographical errors as well It help everyone to read the question , that so often contains errors. When one has completed the checking a sign will appear on the left side that says " No misspellings found" then one is free to click on preview. Then we can all feel like teachers !

How you point out others mistakes makes a big difference and also reflects on the kind of person that you are (or are not). Personally I don't have time to point out when there is a typo in an e-mail or post. But for some, it makes them feel self important to do so.

All that said, you do have to keep in mind that how you type gives a perception as to your tech savvy and education. Now-a-days there really is no reason to have typos unless you are being lazy. And if that is the case, that is how you will be perceived.

At the end of the day -- that is your choice to make! ;-)

While some people do ask for it, I call it the "spelling attack" (yes I know, not really original). A person is losing an argument and so will use the spelling attack in a futile attempt to overturn their opponent. Dramatic isn't it? Usually seeing the spelling attack brings tears to my eyes from how hard I'm laughing at the foolishness of it.

Too boring for me, if I only needed a real answer particular it quite is a stable concept, in spite of the undeniable fact that at here it is the social interplay that makes it advantageous putting up with lots of the trash that comes alongside each and every so often.

I have no problem with spelling, but it does drive me nuts when the grammar is so bad I cannot decipher the question...I just move on. And I agree, too often, the human spell checkers are very busy.

We're not stupid; we like to see proper English and good spelling. No, I don't have a problem. And yes, I was a teacher. Oh, by the way, you should have used the word "freely" instead of "free".

because that is how people are and it is human nature! people are always going to criticize others on small mistakes, spelling and so forth-those people are called arrogant, annoying and show offs. just because some people cannot spell perfectly they get criticism, that is bull! people are born to make mistakes, even the smartest ones and i guess that the ones trying to put others down thru criticism related to spelling do not have anything better to do with their own life.

This is often used as a red herring, and it is usually done by people who don't have anything logical to add to the discussion or debate. When they do it, I would suggest standing firm and asking if everyone could please stick to the facts of the discussion.
