Eyes can be deceiving
Seeing only what you want them to see
But visions from the heart
Are the ones l choose to see
If you look through your heart
When others come into View
You'll always see the goodness
In the ones that love you to
Many thoughts come into vision
When you see with your Mind
The present and the future
And those you left behind
If you see with your heart
In all things good or Bad
You'll find life a little easier
Even when times are Sad
So the next time that you vision
That someone face to Face
Remember to see through your Heart
And make the world a better Place

MY head may do the talking but "I" only listen to what it says if I feel it in my heart! I've been "fooled" to many times by "wishful thinking" and I'm at a point in my life if it isn't in my heart I'm not buying what my head tells me!It's a little harder getting to my heart these days(you learn after awhile!) so if it passes the "heart" test it's probably pretty safe. When I think with my head, I'm more impulsive, and tend to take more risks, whereas if I follow my heart I'm more protective and analyze things as a protection. So far , my hearts ahead ,so that's where I look!

I think when we say our "heart" we mean, our emotions. There are many times that our judgement is overpowered by our sense of bond, attachment or the emotional commitment of either what we feel for someone or something that we have a passion for.
We may let those feelings override very sensible and logical knowledge because we "follow our hearts". Even 'picking ourselves up and starting again' is a combination of both, but- ultimately ruled by our emotions because while it is our mind...our logic that allows us to make the conscious decision to start again... it is our pride, our emotion our desire to acheive and overcome that drive it into action!

This saying symbolises the dichotomy between emotional response and intellectual reasoning. I would imagine you are emotionally detached, logical and unimaginative - and also much happier than I am. I followed my heart but my heart was a poor navigator.

For me what works best is if my head, heart and gut feel good about something it's a definite "go".

well thats not exactly true your heads saying the sensible stuff but your heart tells you what will make you happy, so while your heart is saying" run in the flowers my child" your head is saying "thats illogical captain!" sorry.....bad joke chucked in for free.....whatcha gonna do?

I can see where your coming from. There are plenty of times I knew I shouldn't of done something cause it didn't feel right. But because I was interested and it sounded good I did it.

Your head tells you what u should do. Your heart tells you what you want to do. (But nothing tell you what you will do.)

oh friend, we DON'T always do what our head tells us to! If I had, I'd still be single, and living in Minnesota!
