No but you will need to check the manual on the player to see what format it accepts! Older players dont accept some of the new DVD formats. Once you find this out, burn away!!!!

Nero vision express is a partof Ner4 so it should B in your upgraded version...Check Start..All pgms..Nero and look at the listings.

What do you want to burn a video of ? - A disc copy of an avi or mpg file

yes you do if you want to encode the video for playback in a dvd player
