i do not now if the spelling is correct, but ive been told these are good .22s. does anybody no anything more about them, and could someone give me the manufacter website please

The Romanian rifles you are talking about are military training rifles. I own two different romanian trainers. The first and most common rifle is the M1969 bolt action repeater. It is a nice little 22LR and has a 5-round clip. The other one, also from romania is marked "UMC" with the word "CURGIR " underneath. the serial number is 1951-xxxx, indicating it was produced in 1951. This rifle is a single shot bolt action. It has a very heavy and long barrel. If you happen to find the heavy rifle at a good price scoop it up, they are great shooters.Hope this helps....-K

I think you mean Romanian.

Looks like they make a variety of guns, including the .22 as you mention.

try www.czfirearms.com or other variations of this. they make excellent .22's.
