This is a typical trip to a store. There was no one at the counter to help. I always handle getting help today though I asked him. He reluctantly asked someone to be sent to help. Well we waited and waited. Finally I went and asked an empolyee one counter over. All my boyfriend griped was sure he ignored the page. I told him he could have asked instead of griping. All the negative talk with no action is grating on me. I don't like to be negative and never hesitate to ask for help or even chat with others. He stands there like a lump and says nothing;. Am I too extroverted?

This is your glimpse into the future. He is going to do a lot of complaining and not a lot of action. I couldn't live with that, can you? You are looking at a future of constant negativity, lose him, get a new one who is a cheerful and helpful as you. Seriously, otherwise you are wasting your time.

First question - Why does my boyfriend...
I would say he does this because someone always ends up doing it for him no matter what it is. Look to his relationship with his parents to see if they over indulged him. OR some people are just not logical, they do not see the process in their heads, ask for help - get help. This applies to lots of things OR he may just not be personable.
Second question - Are you too extroverted?
I don't know you but asking for help when it is needed, being polite and chatting with people are not typical signs of anything overtly extroverted.
I think you are a positive person and he is a negative one.
What you choose to do with that information is entirely up to you.

You are simply people of two differing personalities. Some peope are a bit shy or introverted...and that's okay...others are extroverted and that's okay too.

Why don't you talk to him about why he hesitates to do those types of things? If you cannot communicate ya don't have much of a relationship...and it may give you valuable insight on him (and vice versa) to guide your relationship.

First of all because he is a B-O-Y! That's why he complains. But almost all boys are able to be trained. If you can't train yours, then live him alone! Why do you need someone who dosn't want to be your "second half", your wall, support?

Good luck,
Svetlana

no, you're not too extroverted.
maybe he just thinks that if someone is being paid to provide a service to you, then they should do their job and he shouldn't have to go out of his way to get the service that he is paying for.
