After years of being bulimic and having a baby 3 months ago, I had to have all my bottom molars removed this week. The pain is incredible, and I will not be getting my implants for 3 weeks. I could really use some suggestions on what to eat, I have been living off of Miso soup for the last three days, and something new would be great.I do not want to eat baby food or pureed veggies or meat- thanks in advance for any tips!!!!!!!!!!1

I really do feel your pain! I had all four wisdom teeth extracted at once. First and foremost, for the few days after the surgery you should not have been smoking, sucking liquids through a straw or spitting. You want blood clots to form in the tooth sockets. Doing any of those things I just mentioned would have dislodged the blood clots and that causes dry sockets - which are TREMENDOUSLY painful. If you think you may have dry sockets you need to return to your oral surgeon ASAP!
As for eating - I would sugguest really soft foods like mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, soups, yougurt, applesauce, icecream - I think you get the picture!
Take Motrin for the pain and use salt water rinses to keep the areas clean. The cleaner the mouth stays the faster it will heal!
Good luck and God bless!!

the best would be ice cream, you can also use medication that the dentist can prescribe for you. But, if you suck on an ice cube (make it small) the coldness should seep into your swollen gums and reduce the swelling alot! It really works. You may also eat soups, any of your favorites will work!

properly there should be a hollow the position the inspiration of enamel develop into. no matter if it remains swollen that could no longer unusuall for an individual teeth extraction. no matter if that's painfull like a throbing soreness than it could be contaminated (dry socket) if that is the case call your dentist so he can take a seem, it may favor to be wiped clean out. practice ice for your cheek the position that's swollen to reduce the swelling, If the swelling hasn't lengthy gone down after about 2 - 3 days be particular you call the dentist as well to maintain him recommended. perfect regards!

I would try some chicken noodle soup, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti for supper. I know that you have to be in pain. Did they give you anything for pain? If not you may want to give your dentist a call.
