Bathing from hose? The water isn't warmed, so it's not comfortable, but if it's hot outside, it's very nice. Compare the running water from a hose to the running water from a shower. Not much different, it flows through pretty much the same pipes.
Drinking from a hose? Well, that's fine, too. The water is the same as tap water (same pipes again), although the hose may not be quite as clean as your kitchen faucet. If you let the water run for a while first, it will wash out all the bad stuff, unless it is REALLY old and stagnant for a long time.
Speaking of stagnant, how is this different than bottled water? After all, the bottled water source is the same as tap water, except the water has been put in a plastic bottle (instead of a hose), and stored in a warehouse for who-knows-how-long, then put on a truck so it can sit in another warehouse, to get put on a store shelf, so it can sit longer! That's not the freshest water around, either.

I have drank water from a hose "many" times. As a child growing up and even now. It will not kill you. I'm 63 and in great health. I've never bathed with a hose, but I have cooled off under one in these hot Texas summers.

Did you realize that the more 'invisibles' you consume, the stronger your immune system is??
I've done all these things, I've backpacked in the wilderness for 2 solid weeks and 'showered' once the whole time in an open air, coldwater trickle. I'd have died to have a hose to provide potable water and the ability to actually bathe!
Get out of your house and try something new and 'gross'.....what do you think our ancestors ACTUALLY drank and bathed in?? They obviously survived enough to produce us!

yes I have, when I use to have a garden and when I would be out working in my garden and my yard and if I was thirsty I would drink some water from the hose, I never took a full bath, but I have washed my muddy hands and feet from the hose before I would go into my house...

LOL It would be my guess you are all under the age of 20. As a 30 something, when we were young and spent our days playing outside ALL day--we would drink from the hose instead of going in. Nowadays, I would not drink from a hose and don't let me children.

And you are an idiot. Yes, I have. Were you ever a kid who played in the hose in the summertime? Apparently they don't do that in Beverly Hills. Oh, which means you have never been hard up either where the only place to bathe is in a hose. You will have that when you are sickenly rich.

Yes. If I didn't I would have died from dehydration because no water was provided at the jobsite. As for bathing-- I would worry more about the one who doesn't bathe than the one that bathes with a hose.

Yes, but nowadays they say it's bad for you. We didn't think anything of drinking from a hose way back 'in the day'.
