You think something is wrong with you so you do the responsible thing and go to the doctor, he examines you, and says you have an infection, or something, he gives you a prescription, you faithfully take it then you start feeling really sick, you get aches, pains, fever, and then break out into a rash. You go back and he's genuinely surprised. So he gives you another prescription. Do they do this on purpose?

Yep, its all about the money, honey

Part of being a doctor is troubleshooting bottlenecks in the financial flow, its a complex system, and not always easy to figure out

And you can bet your last dollar, if they leave you one....lol that 20 yrs in the health care profession both knows this, and will never ever admit it
ask yourself, "Can I afford a horse ranch"?

there are viral and bacterial infections. even then you have different strains of each. depending on which one you had, he probably started treating you for one then found you had another type of strain. just because it's an antibiotic it doesn't cover all infections. i had one antibiotic but my uti was a different strain so they changed it. sounds like you had an allergic reaction though. hope that helps.
