I've had this lump on my left side of my neck for ever since I was 15, 16?
Gradually over time it has gotten bigger.
Maybe a month or so I finally asked the dr. about it and as usual I got the well its been there for 5 years and nothing has happened answer.

NOW, I have lumps on my hand, legs, feet and even my stomach. They are under the skin and are hard, yet hurt lwhen you touch them. One has even GROSS I know, opened up. (on my hand)
I'm tired a ton and get migraines constantly.
I've scheduled anopther appointment, with the intent of saying nothing has happpened in 5 years, well wtf is happening now???

HAs anyone experienced this and if so what was it, did the dr's give you a run around as well?
I'm starting get really worried about it all.

The first thing I thought of while reading your question was Hodgkins Disease or lymphoma - which are cancer.
Then I thought of something else - Neurofibromatosis.
I have known 2 people in my life who had that. It causes cyst like nodules on their skin.
I'd change doctors and find someone who is willing to be proactive instead of reactive.

You need to change doctors and get it checked out. Many times it can be something as simply as a fatty tumor, which is no big deal. It can also be something much worse and just taken this long to enlarge to a point where, you need definitive treatment.

Don't waste time, go see a different doctor and get a GOOD opinion on what you have.

They sound like cysts, but most people have one or two every now and then which go away on their own. I don't know why you would keep getting them - perhaps something is wrong with your lympathic system - this is what drains all the bad stuff out of your body.

If your doctor is not addressing your concerns, you should seek a second opinion.

Its hard to say what they lumps are on something like this. I would go see a different dr. tho, the other one didn't take the time to check this out and he should have. Good luck!

Not sure about the rest of your body but you might want to take a tsh test to make sure the one in your neck is not your thyroid acting up. Thyroid disorder is commonly mis-diagnosed even to the extent of doctors telling people its just pms.

Go to another Doctor. If they are spreading you need to get them treated fast.
