After seeing hurricane Katrina I really wonder why this kind of weather exists and does God place this kind of weather in particular areas for a reason.

According to the Bible, God made the world and said "It is good" (Genesis). But then sin came into the world through Adam and Eve. Hurricanes, tornados and other natural disasters were not part of his plan at all. But when they chose to sin, that was part of the curse that followed. I am not sure if God allows this weather to hit certain areas for a reason, although that is possible. Sometimes bad weather is a punishment, like the world-wide flood in Genesis that God used to destroy all the people of the earth because of their sin (saving Noah and his family, of course.)

There is no god. Nature is blind and indifferent.

Consider this though.. There were people who stayed when they knew that Katrina was going to hit. Many of these people were good Bible believing Christians and they thought if they prayed that god would protect them. These people are dead now because of their belief in god.. it is truly tragic.

What you are bringing up is the classic problem from evil that no one has been able to refute. This argument proves that an all-loving, all-powerful and all-knowing being cannot exist.

“ The gods can either take away evil from the world and will not, or, being willing to do so cannot; or they neither can nor will, or lastly, they are able and willing. If they have the will to remove evil and cannot, then they are not omnipotent. If they can but will not, then they are not benevolent. If they are neither able nor willing, they are neither omnipotent nor benevolent..Lastly, if they are both able and willing to annihilate evil, why does it exist? ” -Greek philosopher Epicurus (341-270 BCE).

1:and the these small human being keep saying there is no god or do not believe in Mohammed or even muslims and do not obey islam instructions?
2: yes, but imagine......Allah is so merciful, and keeps these people going in their lives

1:but humans?
2: If man do something good, it is for himself. so, when people die, if he is a good muslim, there is no problem , he will go to paradise in the second life but if he is not, then he judges himself to end his life without being good.......and he will be into the hill forever in the next life.
1:Yes, if all people were at the heart of the best man, this would not increase the kngdom of allah with anything, and if they were at the heart of the worst man of them, this would not lessen the kngdom of allah with any thing.

See, :)

People die.

God created to us to live so that we may seek a relationship with him and come to know him. God created us as creatures whose bodies will die. Depending on what we do while in the flesh determines whether we will be eternally united with or separated from God.

Being that God created us to die, he also created things that cause us to die.

Does God directly micromanage the weather? Not that I'm aware of. God has created the conditions for weather to "happen," and what happens is a result of a combination of numerous conditions.

Satan can influence weather also:

Ephesians 2:1-3 (King James Version)

1And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

2Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Why do you always blame God for the wrongs of man instead of blaming yourself for your poor descisions?

I don't have the answer. But, after 9/11 I've wondered myself. But if you think about it, we as a nation have banned prayer in school, pre-marital sex is on the rise, our morals seem to be on the downfall. It seems that we have kicked God out. Maybe He's just withdrawing His protection from us.

It all goes back to Bible times when Adam and Eve ate that apple. Since then God made evil. If it were not for them there would be no evil. He has a purpose for everything, it's just not for us to understand.
