I am loaded down with about 10 cans of salmon so if you have any more ideas of things that I can make( that does not require a lot of additional ingredients) then you can give me that too. Thanks!

I'm in the south and love salmon patties! YUM! Here is how I make them.

1 can of salmon
1 large egg
cornmeal
salt
cooking oil

Open can of salmon. Pull bones out if preferred. Mix in the egg amd salt. Form into patties and lay each patty in cornmeal to coat. Heat cooking in skillet on med-high heat. Place patties in skilled and sprinkle with salt. Fry until golden brown! YUM!

I also make this really yummy pasta with my canned salmon.

Salmon Alfredo Pasta

1 can salmon
rotini (or any other pasta)
1 jar alfredo sauce
frozen peas and carrots
salt, pepper

Boil desired amount of pasta until it has about 3 minutes of cooking time left then add carrots and peas. Continue to cook until done and drain. Open can of salmon, drain, and pull out the bones. Dump salmon in with the pasta and pour alfredo sauce in. Salt and pepper if desired. Heat until it's all warm. Delisious and super fast!!!

Hope this helps!!! Have a great meal!!!

The way I make salmon patties:Onion finely diced, garlic diced, celery finely diced, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper, bread crumbs. I always sautee' the onions, garlic celery in a little butter,or a very fine olive oil, just enough to cover the bottom of skillet.Let all ingrediants cool, get all moisture out of salmon and with your hands mix all together, except bread crumbs. After all is mixed well, coat both sides well with the bread crumbs, bake till crispy on the outside.Or you can fry them in a skillet with very little oil or Pam.I'm cajun,so when I cook I never measure anything,so use everything to fit you or your family's taste. We like allot of onion and garlic, and like things spicey. As far as the cayenne pepper goes,it's optional, but we always use that in cooking, and when serving,we always use tobasco sauce and fresh lemon. I also love to make a salmon salad. For that you just use any and everything you can find to make your salad, apples, currants, bananas, and use every kind of lettuce, except iceberg.Fresh grated parmesan cheese.(I cheat and get it in refridgerated section)NOT THE STUFF IN THE CAN!Chopped walnuts, and anything else you can think of. I sautee' the salmon in a skillet,I just spray a little bit of PAM so it doesn't stick.Just till it gets warm, and a little blackened then put it in your salad.I usually have the salad in individual bowls and put the salmon in each one.Put more cheese and,I like to put shelled sunflower seeds also.Top it with Champagne dressing and croutons.THIS IS A MEAL IN ITSELF.Garlic french bread goes great with both of these recipes.Bon apetite! And if you need any help getting rid of those cans of salmon, you can e-mail them to me!!!Hope you like, and God bless
