I've read that it's a great hair and scalp conditioner but no directions were provided on how to apply it.

It will be better to you Olive Oil Cream, works just the same but it's not as greasy. I also use Carrot Oil Cream but as a hair dressing not an after shampoo conditioner.

small amount of olive oil and a small amount of lemon mix together rub into the scalp let it sit there for a while like a half hour and then rince out with a gentle shampoo. I've done this in the past it's good also think of using a deep conditioner pack.

Honey Conditioning Treatment ( if you just want to use the olive oil, just remove honey from recipe )

Mix 1/2 Pure Honey with 1/4 cup olive oil or almond oil.
-Use 2 tablespoons for normal to oily hair.
-Using a small amount at a time, work mixture through hair until coated
-Cover hair with a shower capand leave on 30 minutes. Shampoo well and rinse; dry as usual

*If your not adding honey, warm the oil in microwave for 30 sec.

Olive oil comes in many values from crude to thinned out. I would say use the most distilled you can get (cheapest) is the best to use. Comb it thru and let it set for 3-5 minutes after washing your hair, then wash it out with a mild shampoo, rince in cool water and towel dry.
Omega-3 is good for the skin (vitamin A) also
I'm no pro but it's something I would try.

you can just use it as a scalp conditioner by putting it on ur scalp.. part ur hair into sections and rub a little in.

They also sell grease that is mostly olive oil... this would be easier to place on ur hair but probablyjust as time consuming

Be sure you brush it brush it brush it! Gently of course. To distribute the oil..Work it in with your fingers.I try to leave mine on for a day and a night. Use a shampoo such as Fructis or maybe even pantene, but not designer products. I use a light conditioner like Infusium 23. :-)

try almond oil, it might be better. just rub a small amount throughout your hair (damp or dry) before you take a shower. leave it in for at least an hour. then when you shower, make sure you get most of it out or your hair will look greasy afterwards

Comb through and leave on your hair for several minutes. Then you will need a good shampoo to make sure it washes out when you are done.

you should try using a protein based conditioner or cholesterol. It's less greasy and smells better, too.
