That happens everywhere, at any school anywhere in the world. People aren't perfect, not even teachers. It's sad though when teachers play favorites. I have several teachers in my HS that only liked jocks. Our school was so focused on football and baseball that if you didn't play one or the other than you weren't important. I hated it sometimes. It's really frustrating because not only are you worried about making friends with peers but now you have to try and befriend a teacher because they won't pay attention to you. You really can't do anything about it. Just realize that you are still just as important.

You and your friends should go and talk to your teacher after class. Tell them you feel like you are being ignored, that you want the opportunity to participate in class more too. You can talk to your principal too if you feel some teachers are being quite unfair in class. Just remember - don't be afraid to speak up. School is there for you to learn and teachers are there to teach everyone.

How are you and your friends acting in class compared to the other students. Maybe the other students need more help and guidance with their homework, and why are you so interested in having conversations with "young teachers". I'm not sure of your motive but it sounds like your going to get someone locked up. Keep your mind off of meaningless things and focus on your work.

Teachers i saw at school always did seem to talk to the most confident pupils. However, it is possible that these pupils may be the ones who is always moving in first. Be bold, get on in there girl.

i was mousy at school, but my intelligence and hard work got me noticed. the attention seekers can seek attention all they like, thats not important at all. you're not at school for the teacher, your peers or anyone other than to further your own education.
