Stevey,
Religions are man-made and to a certain extent each one has some good things about it. BUT a Relationship with the awesome uncreated Creator of the universe is NOT man-made.
The heavenly Father wants you to know Him but He will not force Himself on you. Since your family is Christian I suggest you start close to home - by that I mean start with Christianity.
Tell God that you need His help to know Him. Read His Word. There are so many wonderful Bibles on the market these days. In addition to regular Bibles there are study Bibles and devotional Bibles; Bibles with material for men and for women, for teen boys and teen girls, for moms etc.
Last year I gave my teen granddaughter a copy of the True Images Bible for teen girls and I gave my teen grandson Revolution the Bible for Teen Guys. It was hard to pick because there were several good ones with helpful material aimed at teens.
I didn't read the Bible until I was an adult and having lots of problems. I wish I had read it BEFORE I finished high school, BEFORE I went to college, BEFORE I got married, BEFORE I had children but I didn't. The good news is that God did not give up on me and when I finally did read the Bible from cover-to-cover it was wonderful. Now I read a Bible each year.
May God bless you abundantly!

The one the makes the most sense is the one with the least questions or vagueness. A religion that truly came from God should make sense and have logical answers for everything. If your religion has alot of grey areas theres a problem.

I don't think it's fair or accurate to say that any one religion is "right." The best I can offer on that front is that for most people, there is one religion that makes "the most sense" to them personally.
If you are curious about religion, I suggest going to different services. If you know people who go to the services, go with them and ask questions. As much as the titles bug me, the "For Dummies" series did a pretty good job on Catholicism, so I would think it would handle other religions well, too.
Keep questioning, keep exploring, and you'll find what's "right" for you.

well, imo (im catholic)
buddhism makes sense(rid attachment of objects, find peace within)
Jesus makes sense(good morals, you know, love one another)
but out of christianity, catholic makes most sense-original church of christianity, belives a person has to do good things, etc
but this is a choice only you can make, the best option is to research yourself and find what fits you best, thats what i did before i was confirmed, then i decided to stay catholic, best choice for me, but maybe not the best choice for you, idk.
i think theres a website called 'religious tolerance' or something that has the world religons. if you want more info about catholicism, google 'catholic answers', maybe wikipedia (world religions)

No one can answer that but you.
Religion, faith, or lack thereof, flows from what are called 'first principles'. These are the principles which we just accept as true, such as 'given any two right angles, their measure is equal' or 'the fact of existence implies a deity'. You cannot prove these, so they are first.
From these, you do the logic, you observe the universe through that framework, and you come to your own conclusion.

You need to decide what makes sense to you. I suggest you sit down and write down the things you believe at this point. Then investigate different faiths and learn all you can about them. See what matches what you believe and listen to the reasoning behind what conflicts with your beliefs. Pray about what you learn and take time to listen for an answer. Then decide for yourself.

Any Christian church that preaches the TRINIty is correct...Jesus is the only God who ever Died for anyone so this tells us something....false religions dont have that or the trinity...i prefer Methodism...catholics have more rules but theyre Christians..

Depends on who you ask. Certainly, your parents would state Catholicism. Ask a non-beleiver, and they will tell you none of them. Ask a muslim, they will say Islam. ASk a Jew, they will tell you Judaism...
But, logic would state that seeing as there are hundreds of differing beleif systems, seems not any of them ring true for many many people. So they must all be false, or at least all only contain a kernel of truth - not the absolute truth they alll claim.

well one thing is for sure, you cant convert to a religion JUST because it sounds good and easy. a religion makes sense to itself only. it cant make sense to the secular world. if youre looking for proof, youll find all kinds of proof FOR and AGAINST anything. be open to a god, and maybe you will find him.
