I haven't had my baby yet.. I'm due in 7 weeks... but I *plan* to use the treadmill (we own one... it just never gets used) and jog for about an hour or so every other day and do lunges and squats... we'll see how that goes though once I actually have my daughter here though LOL

Well....I breast fed (still amand hes8 months!) which helps a LOT. You should get an excerise ball. its the easiest way to do exercises with the least amount of work. Bounce on it with your baby, sit on it and it makes you work you abs and legs. I had to stop eating like i was pregnant (which is very hard to do) everything in moderation and avoid the chocolate cake! I swapped that out for chocolate bars...and ate only a little at a time. It does take some time. Unless you have hours to devote to the gym, it will take more than a month. I am back down to my prepregnancy weight...i have been since he was about 6 months old, but all my parts are in the rght places or the right shape. I htink the most important thing is to just do a littel everyday. good luck!

I went on Weight Watchers when my daughter was 4 months old. We went for lots of long walks and I watched what I ate, and I lost the baby weight in no time. Now she's 6 months old and I weigh even less than I did before I got pregnant.

It's a real pain in the butt having to record everything I eat every day though! It's ok for the first couple months but after a while you just can't be bothered to sit down and do it.

The easiest and most natural way to lose your baby weight is to breastfeed. Also, eating healthy would be best for both you and baby. Now, if it's been say two years since you've had the 'baby' I would say that eating lots of fruits and vegetables and controlling your portion sizes will do a lot for you. The reason you have 'baby weight' is because your body naturally puts fat on your body for nursing. But, like I said if it's been awhile, then eating healthy foods, in moderation, with snacks and also trying to exercise- all of these things will help you in losing the extra padding.

I walked and walked and walked. If the weather was crappy and I didn't want my son to be out in it, I would drive to the mall and walk inside. I also drank nothing but water for the first 8 weeks of having him.

I gained 23lbs during my pregnancy. I had lost 35 by the time my son was 2 months old

Good Luck

With my 2nd child, I walked and then jogged it off, and my muscles got real tight. Watch the cement though, it's hard on the joints. Now that I'm older. Coffee is hard on the bones. I have a lot of bone issues.

Follow a diet (given to u by a dietician) and go on long walks in the park with your baby in the stroller.

Actually I couldn't help you with this one. After I had my baby I was thinner than I was before I got pregnant heck I was thinner than I even am now. But I guess you should breatfeeding. Breastfeeding helps you burn alot of calories and all you're doing is feeding your baby!

I worked out everyday for at least 1 hour on the treadmill. I also watched what I ate (which I didn't do when I was pregnant) and I drank lots and lots of water. =)

Good luck - you can do it.

breastfeeding, walking around the neighboorhood each night as a family (pushing a stoller up hill is a great calorie burner!)
