If you have bad credit, you may want to consider skipping getting a new card anytime soon. Best to work on a cash-only basis for a while and get your credit rating back up.
However, if you absolutely need a credit card for things like car rentals, etc., there are some companies that willgive you a card with a $300 limit to start. However, they murder you with activation fees, membership fees, annual fees, etc. You can get your new card, activate it, never use it, and owe them $200 right off the bat. It's a way they can insure you MAY not leave them with an outstanding bill.
However, the up side to one of these credit cards, if you can afford all that, is that if you have a pristine payment record with the company, they will likely give you a credit increase in about 6 months. That, of course. looks good on your record.
Good luck with it -- depending on how bad your credit is digging out can be a tough process, but it's well worth it if you do it right!

You made your own 'bad credit' and should want to fix that. Instead of just wanting to get more money that you won't pay back, start looking for ways to be a responsible and honest adult.
Make a plan to improve your credit rating... start by getting a pre-paid credit card (you put $200-$500 into an account, they give you a credit card and you can charge up to the amount in your account). Make your payments to your lender according to the agreementy you sign... or, if your word is not good, eventually find yourself unable to borrow for a car, a home, a TV, a motorcycle... or ANYTHING.

Open a bank account and get a Debit card with a credit card carriet like Visa or MC.
If you have bad credit you don't need another credit card, and if any provider does offer one the interest will be through the ROOF!

you can apply for a secured credit card. I had one and they asked for 500.00 as a deposit and I recieved 500.00 credit limit, but if you don't pay your deposit is used to pay your bill. It was a good way to start to rebuild credit.

Don't bother, you have trouble with money, why get yourself into further debt. If you can't pay cash then you don't need it.
