Also, This one for those of Christian faith. With 79.8% of the American people practising some form of Christianity, will those who have killed in His name still go to heaven, even though they've broken one of the ten, or does the bible offer any exceptions to the rule? If there are no exceptions, why do they vote for George W and other like-minded war presidents? I'm truly puzzled!

There are several historical records that tell stories of Chrisian countries occupying other lands an proclaiming the Christian way to be the only way. Why do you think so much of South America is Catholic? The Middle Ages have a lot to answer for in that respect.

Firstly, It wasn't a military success as other faiths still exist.
All faiths say that forgiveness will be given if you repent your sins. What a load of Tosh - the same as the tosh stating that islamic martyrs will go to heaven with scores of virgins etc. What did the virgins do to deserve being scr---- by a murdering b------?

Humans are animals and we will always find an excuse to kill each other. Its a pity most use religion as an excuse!!!

I guess we all know that Bush and Blair will go down in history for all the wrong reasons but big business has a lot to answer for!!

It is not at all fair to say the spread of Christianity was a military success. Jesus said go and teach all nations, not to go and convert by the sword.
Chrsitianity was mainly spread in this way by peaceful, Christian missionaries, and charitable works.
The military successes you mention were nothing to do with Christian teaching, they were mainly wars fought over materialistic and political issues such as for territorial gains.
Christians certainly believe that killing is wrong, although in exceptional cases there is the concept of a just war where, if the only way of preventing a very great evil is through the use of military force, then this is permissable.
As far as the Iraq war is concerned, the Pope, who is the real head of the whole Christian Church was against it.
So Bush and Blair did not carry out this action with any authority from the Christian Church, and this war has nothing to do with the Christian faith, although some Muslims would like to portray it as a Christian attack on Islam. Bush and Blair may claim to be Christians but in no way do their actions represent the Christian Church or Christian teaching.

TO ANSWER YOUR ADDED REFERENCE TO THE CHRISTIAN VOTE.
Christians do not vote for Bush on a single issue, while most Christians would not agree with Bush on the war in Iraq, they do support his stance on issues like abortion and embryo experimentation.
The only other real alternative in the U.S.A. is to vote for the Democratic Party which supports a very liberal attitude to moral issues, including the mass killing of unborn babies, and their use in medical research. Christians could not possibly support this, so Bush is the only option, you could say the best of a bad lot.

Thou shalt not kill!!!
Love thy neighbour as thy self!!!
Thats what the Bible says but do they practice what is written, No. I am not a christian or belong to any organised religion, and anyone who votes for George bush is insane how can they be sane if they believe we are here to destroy each other.

Only one religious group maintains political neutrality: Jehovah's Witnesses. They don't get involved in politics or war on any level, period. They look to God's Kingdom as the solution to mankind's problems.

I doubt those who killed in His name would go to Heaven. There is NOTHING in the Bible that says anything about that.
