Well, I guess it would depend on the cactus. Some have more spines than others.

But for only $100? Not worth it -- I'd spend all that money getting the flippin' spines pulled out of my butt! No profit motive.

Sure, as long as I could choose the species of cactus. Christmas cactus would be a good choice.
