First off you need to find a proven program that is not going to be just a "diet". "Diets" are a quick fix for a life long problem. Find a program that is not only going to give you tips on how to lose weight but also teach you how to eat healthy and then when you get to goal continue eating healthy. Find yourself a support group because trying to lose the weight on your own is very difficult and you end up sabotaging yourself. I have been on a program for 13 weeks and have lost just over 65 lbs. It takes determination, sacrifices, and the willingness to change. Start by getting rid of all snacks in the house, drink at least 100 oz. of water per day, get rid of the diet pop because of the sodium content in it. Stop using salt, start walking. measure your portions. The program I am on is the 6 week body makeover and I tell you it works wonders. I have been on every program known to man and could never lose anything in fact I would gain. I suggest you check it out. You can go to the provida website and look into it.

I started out at 248 and was about 75 pounds overweight. I have lost 32 pounds since July 15, 2006. I started out by using Stack Body Tune Up and Advanced Cell Therapy energy drink.
I have a home page with a blog that I have put some of my thoughts while losing weight. You might would want to read that for some mental and attitude tips.
If I can be of further assistance, let me know.

I do a couple of things. I read alot about health and healthy eating so I am informed. The one thing that helps me the most is writing down what I eat. That way it helps me to remember how much I've eaten and I don't want to look back and thing "gee I really ate too much.
I have a code 1 = starving and 5 = stuffed and I try to only eat when I'm at a 2 or 3 and 20 mins after I finish eating I wrtie down how full I am. That has helped me remember I don't need as much food as I think.

I suffer the same as you but if you think about a dream or goal in life which you really want to achieve (try something possible so you won't be depressed
if you couldn't reach it) .
In this way you will reduce the amount of food you normally eat .
another thing , if you are overweight by more than 20 kg or more , don't try to
loose the whole amount in on ego ,instead make it on stages like: tell yourself
that whatever weight you loose is better than staying the same .
don't try to loose weight in short time, put in mind that the whole matter will takes time , but remember at the end of each stage that loosing little is better
than gaining more .
wish you best of luck , may ( Allah almighty ) gives you happiness forever

Easiest tip is two fold. Stop drinking soda. I lost 10 pounds in one week just switching to diet drinks. I swore I would never drink diet soda, but I have a few that have grown on me over the years. When you stop the soda start the water. The body prefers body temp water, so if you drink ice cold water, calories are burned to warm it up and water fills you up like no other drink can. Good luck. I never thought I would see 160 again, and am now shooting for 135. Think of how great you will feel, think of your health ( i am diabetic now because of my old weight problem) and of all the new clothes.

IT is definately hard to stay motivated, but instead of thinking of it as a diet, think of it as a lifestyle change. You can still eat some of the things you like, just not as much of or as frequently as you are now. There are lots of great recipes out there to make low calorie meals. Also, get an idea of how many calories a day you are taking in and how many an average size person eats. It makes you aware of how much you are actually overeating.

Walk an hour a day, do a stair stepper 15-20 minutes a day. Just DO IT.
Make it a part of your routine like getting dressed before you leave the house. You have to teach yourself to think of it like something that just HAS to be done every day.
And don't stop doing it. Ever.
After the first month, buy yourself a gift, like an mp3 player for taking the first steps on the road to a new life.

easy: eat less & walk more.
let me tell u something, if u will need towalk from NYC to washington DC to lose weight, then do it
am nt saying this but do this
fast everyday from 6 am to 6 pm for a month & c what u gonna get
believe me u r not gonna die.
make it strict at 6 pm, so if u wake up at 6:30 then u can not eat, u will definitely miss some meals & that what gonna make u lose weight
give it a try few days b4 u say u can not do it, becauae i do it every day
just b strict from 6 am to 6 pm

i know it's really hard, but for me the onl;y way i can do it is to get in the mindset that i really want to lose weight, i have to really feel it within in me that it's the right time to diet, and i don't just dwell on the fact that i'm trying to lose weight because the more i think about it the more i want to eat, and also think about this grilled chicken, fish and loads of veggies won't make anyone fat,and it's ok to eat a bite or two of dessert every now and then, and like i said once you get yourself in that frame of mind that your ready yo lose weight then you will no matter what,i really hopes this helps good luck to you
