An educated intellect. Simplicity might make you happy and carefree, but it's too superficial. Wisdom comes through years of experience, it just happens as a result of life. But education is something you have to work for. I'd be satisfied knowing that I acheived an education through hard work.
The wise man has learned from his mistakes, but the educated man knows how to prevent mistakes from happening.
