Canon has a nice selection of lenses. Some of them reasonably priced. Some of them, top of the line.

Probably, the first lens you should consider (I actually think you should get one instead of the kit lens), is a standard zoom lens. The one I'm partial to is the EF 28-200mm. This has a decent amount of zoom but is still has plenty of angle for most standard shots. In other words, a good "walking around" lens.
If you want to take wide angle shots, buy a wide angle lens for these. Another consideration is extreme closeup photography with a macro lens. Depends on what type of photography you do alot of.

Great camera. And just so you know, the 'lens lust' never ends ;-)
If you want to upgrade your standard zoom, try the 17-85mm. The zoom range is a bit better and the image quality is much better ($510. Sorry, but I don't know the prices in pounds). If budget is no problem, look into the 17-55 f/2.8 ($1030) or an L-lens.
To extend your reach at the long end, perhaps the 70-300 with image stabilization ($560) If you want to spend more, look into Canon's 70-200mm lenses.
If you favor convenience over image quality and low light performance, you could consider the Sigma 18-200mm. And if you don't need wide-angle, you could consider the Canon 28-200. (Both for around $370.)
And you might want a dedicated low light lens - also very useful for the shallow depth of field. The simple but effective Canon 50mm f/1.8 will do nicely ($80). If you want to spend more, try the f/1.4 ($315). And if you want to go crazy, they just announced a new f/1.2 ($1600)
After that, you're into specialty lenses.
To extend your reach at the wide end, Canon, Sigma, Tamron and Tokina all have a variation on a 12-24(ish) zoom. Prices range from $500 to $700 for the Canon 10-22mm.
And then there's macro lenses, fish eye lenses, etc.

Canon would not make an 18-105mm lens. Nikon does. Canon has 2 fashions of 18-135mm. there is an older style and a greater moderen STM style. The greater moderen STM style could be greater advantageous. The 60D has a greater advantageous build, however the T5i has greater moderen good factors. could you get the 18-55mm STM or the 18-135mm STM with the Canon T5i? The 18-135mm is greater versatile. the two those STM lenses are reputed to be sharp. The 18-135mm has some chromatic aberration, however the T5i has processor correction for that. The older style 60D lacks that. the hot 70D could have it. The 18-135mm STM is greater costly than the 18-55mm STM. The 18-135mm STM is likewise heavier. some locate this very bothersome, others not lots.

It depends on what you shoot. You have all kinds of lenses. Go to the canon or tamaron sites and check them out.
About prices, I ntice that the money figure for some products in the UK and the US is the same. However the us prices are in $ and the UK prices in Sterling! If you have people going to the US, get the lens from there.

Of course it all depends on the type of photography you enjoy the most. But here are 3 great lenses.
first, your camera has a 1.6x crop factor, and as a result, it is compatible with the EF-S lenses from Canon.
I would suggest EF-S 17-85 IS lens - great all around everyday lens with Image Stabilization technology - which is helpful in low light photography (such as indoors). (~$500)
Then I would recommend a wide angle lens - the EF-S 10-22, which will provide you with super wide angle shots. (~$700)
Next would be a telephoto lens such as EF 70-300 DO IS. This is a great compact lens with a very nice long reach equivalent to 480mm (due to your 1.6x crop factor) - this will be plenty of reach for most photographic needs. (!$1,150)
If you would like a 4th lens, such as to work with Macro photography, the canon EF 100 f.2.8 is a fantastic lens. ($~450)
Sorry that the included prices are in US Dollars.
These are pretty expensive lenses, but they are the best for the format camera you have...
Enjoy.

Start off light, order the mythical 1200mm f/5.6L lens. I hear it's only $100,000. Excuse me, 53,424.6028 pound sterling.

picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.
It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.
It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google
