I wish to become an Enrolled agent by taking the IRS test next year. I wish I could find a school or university with distance learning, or online classes to prepare me for this. I have 2 years individual income tax preperation experience. Any advice from EA's ou there?

It's an open exam, go to the following to get last year's exam to study from:
http://www.irs.gov/taxpros/agents/article/0,,id=137267,00.html
Studying the old exams is THE best way to prepare.

Gleim (gleim.com) has pretty good study materials (the CD with the questions is the best bet).

I believe that H&R Block offers a class.

Best of luck.

Go to Yahoo Search and type in Enrolled Agent Exam. You will get 233,000 hits. I did not read them all but some where in that group you will find a on-line class. When you find one that looks like it would be good for you call a couple of their former students and ask them what they think of the material.

because the tests you downloaded are not to any extent further the try questions you receives (the try changed into redone many years in the past), I strongly advise some type of outdoors gaining understand-how of help. Helen, EA in PA professional SEE instructor
