Jerry Falwell is not evil. He is a man of God.

Those other people are not True Christians.

Man's FREE WILL given by God will not be a "free will" if He will try to move us like pawns in the chess board. He does not allow His followers to pervert religion. Man's greed for power. wealth and control are the ones that caused evil to proliferate. Religion was good from the very start. they only talk about the graces of God by following His commands. When they grew strong in numbers, power and wealth, they were afraid to be taken over by those who opposed them so they created a dogma that would give them the right to chastise anyone who would question their infallibility and inquisition was born. Crusaders were formed in the guise of searching and protecting the Holy Grail of Jesus Christ but they are also known to have plundered the wealth of any nation along their path. They have fought fiercely against the Saracenes at that time for the same reason. Terrorism at present is no longer about God of Islam as proven by their actions of killing people, using the house of their God as a target for destruction by their enemy using their own people as their shield and blaming the enemy for killing innocent civilians and yet they too are not afraid to blow themselves up for killing just two of the enemies and more than fifty of their own people. Many times before the Mosque. This is never about God, this is about Human greed.

THe devil my friend is doing it and that goes to show why Christianity is the true religion because he attacks that the most you can see from the many divisions. God will vindicate his character in the end. We must strive to understand the great controversy going on with good and evil and what rule we play in it.

All humanity is now involved in a great controversy between Christ and Satan regarding the character of God, His law, and His sovereignty over the universe. This conflict originated in heaven when a created being, endowed with freedom of choice, in self-exaltation became Satan, God's adversary, and led into rebellion a portion of the angels. He introduced the spirit of rebellion into this world when he led Adam and Eve into sin. This human sin resulted in the distortion of the image of God in humanity, the disordering of the created world, and its eventual devastation at the time of the worldwide flood. Observed by the whole creation, this world became the arena of the universal conflict, out of which the God of love will ultimately be vindicated. To assist His people in this controversy, Christ sends the Holy Spirit and the loyal angels to guide, protect, and sustain them in the way of salvation. (Rev. 12:4-9; Isa. 14:12-14; Eze. 28:12-18; Gen. 3; Rom. 1:19-32; 5:12-21; 8:19-22; Gen. 6-8; 2 Peter 3:6; 1 Cor. 4:9; Heb. 1:14.)

A better version of your question would be the same as above without the 'why'. The question is, if there were a God, WOULD HE allow his followers to pervert religion and the answer is NO. Thus we see one more small piece of evidence that all these fundies are just fooling themselves and are choosing to believe in something utterly inconsistant and hypocritical. Big surprise.

Because, God has to let Satan work out his plan so that the rest of creation can know for a certainty that God is fair in His dealings with the sin problem. As soon as they this is done, and the cup of inequity is full, That's All Folks, it's over!

God is real! and His ways are his ways. Why God allows what he allows is his business, but true believers, followers, and worshippers are not easily miss guided by all these things. A true and faithful servant doesn't question his master.

Free will!--He warns of us of those who will misrepresent him. He will help, but we have to do it some of it ourselves.

If there was a potion that would make anyone you chose truly love you--would you use it? How long could you be happy with someone knowing they loved you only because you made them do so?

Free Will: God's biggest mistake. Yet it was the point of creation. Go figure.
