What exactly does 0351 (Assaultman) do in the Marines?..Is it like the Javelin Gunners in the Army? Where they would be trained to use the SMAW, then barely ever use it?..Just help the machine gunner in the squad?..Or is it totally different?

--Thanks

They do a bit of everything. Infantry is Infantry. They all do basically the same stuff, but just train in different fields of their MOS. Like when you are in Iraq, you do a bit of everything. Mortarman, Sniper, Rifleman.... You do all that sorts. Talk to your recruiter, he can give you a better definition. Or, go to

It is a great site! Good luck!!!!!!!
