Well my answer is fickle. Kind of Yes...kind of No.
Women need to understand that the actions of their men are a direct result of their own actions or the lack-there-of. If you let a man walk all over you, then he WILL. If you stand up for yourself and let a guy know right off the bat what you will and won't put up with (and MEAN IT) then you will be less likely to have to deal with a scum bag.
I told my (now) husband when we first started dating what I would and would not put up with in a man. i gave him the whole list and basically said "I have a child and I don't have time to mess around with someone who's just lookin' for a good time. You are either really into me and into making it work...or your not" He later told me that he knew right then that I wasn't a girl to take lightly and he respected me so much for knowing who I was and what I wanted.
If more women would learn to identify what they want and need in a man, and then not be afraid to say it......you'd have less whiners floating around this community and making you feel like up-chucking!

I hear ya it's like Jerry Frickin' Springer on here. I have been on here for a couple weeks and I think it is a total waste of time. Half the time you can't even figure out what the question is because these idiots can't spell a word correct or use proper grammar. And I don't mean the ones who shorten words, we can figure that out. I'm talking about after you read the question, you say huh....

People often need validation for what they they are doing and posting the question here gives the question a bigger audience.
People like us may just ignore it but there are still others out there (perhaps with the same mentality) who will always respond.

I think these women lacked attention and ove as a child, and grew up thinking they can get it from any man and get stuck with bad men who hunt down these kind of women. So....I get enough hearing about them, but I wouldn't bash them. I believe it all starts from good/bad parenting, can't blame them for being born into whatever parent/family they were born into.
But yes, there are good men out there!

C'mon!!! Have you ever been in a situation like that? It doesn't sound like it. Sometimes you can love someone even though they treat you badly. Sometimes it has to do with low self-esteem. Whatever the reason, you should feel sorry for these people--they obviously don't love themselves enough to get out of a horrible relationship.

I've stopped looking at those. It's always, does he/she like me? What should I do? What are you stupid? Talk to them for crying out loud. He/she cheats on you? LEAVE!!!!! It's really very simple. Don't these people even know how they feel? I know I'd have no problem getting out of a bad relationship. As a matter of fact I have and that was long before Answers became a website!!!!

They need to be told because the men that treat them badly have brain washed them into thinking they are stupid and can not do any thing with out being told to do it. Keep telling them to leave then it can be your fault. LOL

My man treats me so well. He tells me everyday how much he loves me and how beautiful I am. I don't feel beautiful, but he thinks I am. All I have to do is make dinner and he thinks I am superwoman!
