When it comes to unprovable theories like any of the god or religion theories...you can create anything your mind can imagine.

30,000 denominations of JUST christianity alone proves that man creates god in any form which serves man's purpose, needs or agenda.

So please, feel free to believe in an afterlife without a god included, you have the right to do the same thing which so many others have done. :-)

I don't see how someone could belive in an afterlife without there being some form of overseeing deity or multi-deity structure.

Not to me it doesn't. I believe in God and reincarnation. God is not required for reincarnation, I don't think.
