Wrong and inappropriate gods do wrong and inappropriate things things. The Righteous God always does the Rightesous thing.
There is always someone or something trying to exalt itself/himself/herself against God, the Creator of heaven and earth. That's nothing new. What God has declared in His Word is who He is. What He has clearly shown He expects of those who follow Him, He does Himself first - and last and at every interval between first and last. He's very specific about these kinds of things on how we deal with each other. If He were to violate His own Word and/or Commandment, He, heaven, the earth, and all the universe would blow up or something.

I don't think God wants you to play with other people or yourself, so why would he do a thing like that? Maybe you're making it up or you need to Call on the name of Jesus and meet the real God. Don't settle for second best, dude!
