My best is 14 and is going to have a baby in march . Her fince is 17 and he 's in jail. I'm the godmother and older so do i help take care of the baby and go back there to live with? Here parents are alcholics so they cant help!!!

I think you should talk to your friend she will need a lot of help with that baby think about it before you move in it's a big responsibility. Your A good friend for helping her.

No you did not make the baby and you cannot put your life on hold. The role of the Godmother is to take care of the child when neither parents are not able or here available.

how long will he be in jail and why is he in jail? if you can live with her than thats great, help her out but dont let her live a life as if she werent a mother, since her parents arent there for her and u are willing to, then be there for her and help her get on the right track and if you need help you can always call the nurses or do some studying about how to take care of a baby.

14 is too young to take care of a child! let someone that is financially stable and mature adopt it!!

that would be very nice of you to move in and help her, but no, you arent obligated to.
14 is very young, and 17 in jail, good gosh!
she needs to get help, DHS ect. will help her. foodstamps, daycare, ect.
