iam applying for a green card through a relative immigration program and i wanted to know the processing time or duration for such applications

i think the application is being made in illinois naperville or some where near this area

The processing time will depend on the relation (spouse, parent, child, or sibling) and their status (i.e. citizen or green card holder) and your country of origin. If you are from India, mainland China, the Philippines, or Mexico, that could significantly slow the process. The process can take as little as 10 months or as long as 22 years. All petitions process through central processing facilities --- for family based cases they are logged in at Chicago, and then sent to Lees Summit, Missouri for processing.

Sorry to tell you this, however the only those that get deported are terrorists, needed felons or those a mail order bride bussiness. Do your study, the USCIS has in no way deported an immigrant for marriage fraud. The only deny the utility.
