Motivation certainly can be proved by science. It's psychology. One psychologist, if I recall correctly, suggested that there are 4 primary sources of motivation. Hunger, thirst, pain and sex. All other motivations, such as money, stem from one or more of those four.

motivation can be proofing be science. My religion encourage us to have faith in God and the blood of Jesus, God encourages us to have faith in His love and the future He has planed out for us. Motivation is stimulated by interest. the more you are interested in some thing the more it motivates you.( Competition and or challenge) Example, where is the best place to hide something? In the most uninteresting place. Finding a secret is the motivation, because they have a high interest in what that secret is, where the first look is determined by what is the most interesting to them.
