No. Despite popular urban myths, they're not poisonous. Probably best if you don't eat them yourself.

You dog is doing a usefull job as well as getting protien. Daddy long legs which only live for a short time is the adult leather jacket which lives under ground and eats roots of plants. So if he eats it before it lays eggs then he is doing a great job

Daddy Long Legs are venomous, and can poison whoever, and whatever they bite. Fortunately, the Daddy Long Leg spider has very short fangs and can not penetrate human skin, nor can they penetrate the skin of larger animals including your dog. I don't know about eating them though. You might ask a vet to be on the safe side.

No it wont harm your dog to eat them. Dogs eat worse than that and survive. A spider with larger biting pincers however is cautioned, so, stop your dog from eating bugs of any kind or you may have problems in the future.
Contrary to what some have commented...this particular spider is extremely poisoness but it's pincers/mouth parts are so small that they cannot penetrate normal human or animal skin and they feed off of the teeniest creatures.

Actually I think you will find, that Daddy Long legs are harmless in every way. Yet some people also call Crane Flys Daddy long legs.
It is common for nearly all cats and dogs to catch anything that flys near them and eat it. Anyhow its their survival nature in wild to do this, only we demesticated them and this has come through.
