I'm confused. I've just read an article where a scientist has categorically said that God doesn't exist. That's fine I can live with that, however, the same scientist has said that it is possible that there are an infinite number of universes of which ours is one. If that is the case and there are an infinite number of universes then surely it follows that in one of those universes there will be a God, and if so, why couldn't our universes be that one?
I don't undertand the logic of this stance.

Scientists overstep the area of their discipline sometimes.

Do you consider that scientist the authority, knowing everything. If so you have put this man on a pedistle. I believe he needs to be taken down a notch or two. God does exist! Do you really think we are all alone out here? Do you remember when you were little and when the lights were out, you saw shapes on the wall and it scared you. What about now, does anything ever really scare you? Why do we get scared? Why do we always feel better during the day? As humans we believe in all sorts of evil things. The movies have made a fortune of scaring us.
Why would we believe in evil and not good?

Another thing, do you believe that all these planets were just floating around space and all of a sudden there was an implosion, (can't be an explosion, no oxygen) and the force caused all these things to live and the conditions were just right after that ,so the little things began living on this planet that just happened to be there at the right time. Then they began to change, but not all at the same time. Some changed to fish and some to birds and some to bugs. Each little living organism changed to a new creature. Then some fish decided, he didn't want to be a fish any more so he got a couple of fish friends together and they left the ocean and mated and had little snake babies. And the creatures that became birds had eagle babies and the eagle had blue jay babies.

Come on isn't this stupid.

If God exists would He require his human creation all to be learned enough to dissect every argument and counter argument in the manner of some of the answerer's here and elsewhere. Can a person clever enough to be a scientist bend a ball like Beckham ? or paint a masterpiece or live a humble life full of selfless giving . Who has the skill of a surgeon , the eye of an architect or the ability to make people laugh ? Why should we value the words of a scientist any more than the lived experience and merit of others. No one gets closer to touching the wonder of our vitality of being than an untutored musician . I put their achievements and insights at least on a par and that's being kind to the scientist. If we are going to put people on pedestals we should order a lot more.

There is no way to prove that God does not exist. There is so much evidence out there to prove that he DOES exist! These are not my words but they are true. Read this and think about it. How can all of this happen without God planning it and creating it?

93 million miles from the blistering surafce of the sun stands the planet earth. A rotating sphere perfectly suspended in the center of the universe. The ultimate creation from an infinate mind. An unbelievably intricate complex design. A supernatural testimony, an irrefutable sign that there is a God.

The size, position and angle of the earth is a scientific phenomenon to see. A few degrees closer to the sun we'd disintegrate, a few degrees furter we'd freeze. The axis of the earth is titled at a perfect 23 degree angle and it's no mistake that it is. This allows equal global distribution to the rays of the sun making it possible for the food chain to exist.

Or take for example the combination of nitrogen and oxygen in the atmosphere we breathe every day. It just happens to be the exact mix that life needs to prosper, it doesn't happen on any other planet that way.

You see, the Bible says the invisible things of God are seen through His creation, to believe this is not hard. If there's a design, there's a designer, if there's a plan, there's a planner and if there's a miracle, there is a God.

The Scripture says the heavens decalre the glory of God and the skies proclaim the work of His hands. If we allow our minds to drink in all the truth that surrounds the truth that just surrounds us, creation itself will help us understand.

Did you know the moon controls the tides? It's the maid that cleans the oceans. Even the waves don't crash the shores in vain. The tides drag impurities from the depths of the sea, it's nature's constrant recycling chain.

It simply boggles the mind to think that the stars will rotate with such exact precision that it's true. That the atomic clock, with an error factor of less than three seconds per millenium, is set by the way we move.

Though they silently orbit, the sun, the moon, the stars are like celestial evangelists above. Who circle the earth every 24 hours shouting in every language that there is a God. Atheism is the wedge under the foundation of our faith, trying to topple our relationship with Christ. When the fool said in his heart 'there is no God' he rejects the truth God painted on the canvas of the night. Atheism has never created an artistic masterpiece, never healed a fatal disease or calmed a fear. Atheism has still never given answers to our existence, peace to a troubled mind or even dried a tear.

For it's God who created heaven and earth and flung the stars in space and breathed in the handful of dirt and it became a man. It's God who sits on the circle of the earth and measures the mountains in a scale, and holds the seven seas in the palm of His hand. It's God who sent His only begotten Son to the cross of Calvary to save our souls from Hell and the grave. It's God who creates, God who delivers, God who heals and who is worthy of a thunderous ovation of praise!

You already accepted the scientist's claim that God doesn't exist in this universe, at least. If you think He could exist in another because they are infinite then fine, but for the reasons the scientist gave you, not in this universe.

There is a God. Which do you think is more likely: Nothing made everything or God made everything out of nothing? There is a God, and he is Good. Do you want proof? Just look at anything in nature, and you can see that there is a God. God is eternal, he had no beginning and he will have no end. God is omnipresent, that means He's everywhere, all the time. One day everybody is gonna have to admit He's God. " 'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God." ' I hope you confess before the end, and recieve the salvation which comes through faith in the name of Jesus. "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven given to men, by which we must be saved." If you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and beleive in your heart the God raised him from the dead (He died for YOU by the way...) you will be saved. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. If you don't believe me, you'll still get the answer when you die, you'll know there is a God, and you'll wish you came to him.

One of the most brilliant scientists of modern times, Professor Stephen Hawking, delivered a wonderful lecture on the subject of the universe. You can read it on the following link: http://www.hawking.org.uk/lectures/dice2.html. He argues the the existence of God on the basis of the order which is apparent everywhere in the universe. It doesn't make for easy reading, but give it a go and I hope very much that it helps.

I've a funny idea the scientist *may* be Richard Dawkins - anyway - the multiverse argument does, in fact, require just as much faith as believing in God. The scientific evidence does, in fact, come to no conclusion, leaving people to philosophise and use logic. My opinion is that there is a God, but it is an open question. You are certainly right, the multiverse idea has many flaws.

You don't understand the logic because there isn't much there. Don't worry about what some scientist says in an article, remember for them it's "publish or perish" so if he says something controversial he's on the gravy train!
There IS a God and He cares more for you-personally than you will ever know. Just ask Him; He'll be in touch! Just remember to check your messages now and then.
(OK, that last sentence is mild humour, but there is and He does.)
Good luck on your quest.

Absolutely there is a God.
There is also a man called Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda living in Florida who claims to be God. He is making a very good living at it too.

Here's the article.

Science definetly doesn't have all the answers.
God does!

There is a God. Don't you worry about what a scientist say. Go head, believe in God and make the devil mad. I know I do 'cause everytime I saw something positive about God, I get loads of negative ratings. I make the devil REAL mad! LOL!
