Most people Love me but not one single person "KNOWS" me
Would you rather have someone say they love you, or they know you? Or both? (If both, elaborate on the reasons each are important to you?)

I would like to believe that I both know and love you, spookshow.

I'd rather have both, but I think it would be better for them to know me first. If someone claimed to fall in love with me very quickly or at first sight, I would think they were too impulsive and superficial to mesh well with me anyway. Although I may have sex with her, a relationship would never work built on such a shoddy foundation. If the girl knows me first, I will have the opportunity to know her, and we could share share interests and connect on a deeper and more solid level.

as far as i'm concerned, i cannot say i know you as i think people change everyday, every minute, just a second later might cause a change in u. so my knowledge will be outdated.

better try to understand someone each and everyday, be a friend, like jim said, who lets u total freedom to be urself. i remember a quote of albert camus, dont walk behind me i may not lead, dont walk infront of me i may not follow just walk beside me and by my friend and i think that is what i love is all about...

we do not judge people we love "sartre"

we can know someone to a certain point, not 100%. those who claim so are liars. even i do not know myself!

I hope when people say that they love me it's because they love what they know about me. there are friends that are close to me that really know me. but no one knows me completely. When I tell someone I love them, it's unconditional. I know enough about them and their heart to know that there is nothing they could do to change that love. Complex subject, leave it to you to get me babbling like this....ha! Anyways I think I would rather someone say they love me, because if that is the truth than perhaps I will let them closer to know me better.

To know you is very complex, I believe we exist in our concepts and not by human form although, so for me to explain this, would take a long text.
If I know your dreams and what you want in "life" I would say I love you more than someone who spends alot of time with you and has a relationship with you, because I can see your dream connects to mine and that is love in my opinion. We have the same goals and our efforts work towards accomplishing them, making us "one" body, one energy.
oh well, I tried.

My wife and I are an integral part of each other and know each other intimately.

Yes to know someone is "healthier" for a Love relationship.

generally if someone knows you can also love you sexually. But someone who loves your sexuality may start knowing more about the real you. Thats when love may decrease or increase. So as they say "Love is blind" is the best policy.

if someone knows me and can still say they love me .... that is awsome
although i always appreciate love
but when you can accept all aspects of a person ... good and bad ... and still have love for them
that is awsome
but both are important for me personally xx
