Making sure you get enough of the nutrients that support healthy hair growth...you cannot build strong hair without the right vitamins. Also, be kind to the hair you have, keep heat styling and alcohol-based products like gels to a minimum since they dry and damage the hair. Be careful when hair is wet after washing, don't rip and shred at it when brushing or combing, always start at the ends and work the tangles out patiently...then move up closer to your head as you get the lower hair tangle-free.

Most important is low stress. Stress causes hair to grow unevenly and weak with lots of breakage.
Also, good diet and exercise improve it. I know because about 3 and a half months ago I started working out and my hair is smoother and more evenly coloured now.
Once it's grown, I don't think products can do much to 'restore' it. It's dead. It's just important to preserve it by not exposing it to abrassion or harsh chemicals or heat.
Models don't wash it often and they use a silk pillow case for their hair lol.

Regardless if your a man or woman the answer is moisture. Your hair needs to be moisturize daily. Start with a hair cream with natural herbs and minerals and vitamins and apply to hair then message it in. You will see a big difference.

Hair is dead tissue -- you can't actually make it healthy. BUT you can make it look healthy by using moisturizers and B vitamins, especially if you blow dry. Also, don't use cheap shampoos. Salon products are expensive, but it is because they are better. Redken has an excellent line, as well as Paul Mitchell.

Bleaching your hair damages it alot, so does sun bathing. Buy some good hair products, and take B-vitamins.
