Whats your opinion about Islam?

When ever you heard about Islam which is the first word that comes to your mind?

Everybody has right to his opinion & I respect respect everyone's view. The thing which I would like 2 clear is that Islam is not a religion Islam is a Deen(Arabic) we don't have any word in english which replace Deen Islam is a complete way of life. Islam doesn't promote Violence & Terorism Islam gives the message of peace & unity Islam also says to respect every religion Islam is very much familiar to Cristainality & Jewism & true muslims have same respect for Jesus & Moses as Christains & Jews have. If you people are saying that Islam promotes killing of Inocent people then let me remember you that most innocent people were killed by Christains killing spree of Hitler is great example of violence but it doesn't means that Chrisainality or Pop promotes terrorism. Blacksheeps are in every religion. If you want to know the reality of Islam then go through Quran inplace of muslims because unfortunately we are not following the right path then u'll come 2 know that Islam promotes peace

I withheld consideration of Islam until I started reading the quran. When I finished, I knew it was a sham, a lie, and that there are millions of peaceful muslims, and that according to the quran, Allah is furious with them because he told them to give the world three options:

1. Convert
2. Pay jizya and muslim rule, as second class citizens,
3. Die

The true muslims are the ones blowing themselves up, according to the quran, because they're not afraid to die in Allah's name to bring 'terror' (used in two of the three english interpretations of the Quran that the local mosque recommended as useful even though it's only cannonical in the original arabic) to the infidels.

The peaceful muslims are, according to the Quran, bad muslims.

Knowing what I know, the first word that comes to mind?

If I didn't really know about Islam, and all I heard was what was on the news, then I would probably believe whatever I heard on the news. But because of my religion, I actually do know about Islam, and being a Muslim makes me a better person. I don't just assume things I hear on the news, about somebody else's religion, if I hear something that I want to know more about, then I try to find out more. I believe that this is the right religion, for me, in my opinion it is. But you may think that being Jewish, or Christian, or Buddhist is right for you. Try to read up on all of the religions that you think are possible of being the right religion. Try to find out which one you think is right, and right for God. So, that is what I think of Islam: It is right for me, maybe not for other people, but for me.

Islam is a religion based on peace.The Muslim worships the same God as does the Christian. They believe God created the world and all that's in it in 6 days-rested on the 7th and declared it holy. They believe in Adam and Eve,the garden of Eden,--Abraham,Moses,the ten commandments,King David....... They believe Jesus a major prophet - born of a virgin,and that he will come do battle with Satan at the end. They believe Mohamed the last prophet.

I wish people knew more about our similarities--- Terrorist are not true Muslims at all and one of the worst tragedies today is that they are causing false,and negative beliefs about the whole Islamic religion.

Intolerance, violence, fear and hatred. I've started studying the Qur'an and it really promotes this concept: convert or die. Those who keep on saying that it is really a peaceful religion, DO ONE THING, STUDY YOUR QUR'AN because you really don't know what you're talking about.

4:89 "They but wish that ye should reject faith as they do, and thus be on the same footing as they. But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of God. But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them…"

5:54 "O ye who believe. Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors. They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily God guideth not a people unjust."

9:5 "... fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war) ..."

To the peaceful muslims, I truly applaud you, I do. You live and let live. But in reality, the really true muslims are terrorists and radicals who strictly follow Islam.
