my boyfriend lives in karsiyaka in izmir but im not quite sure which airport it is. also i wanted 2 go in october and im wondering if anyone knows of any cheap airlines or holiday deals. any answers will be much appreciated thanks!

hey there, i was in Karsiyaka Izmir when i was in Turkey this summer and just one word describes it AWESOME and the name of the airport is Adnan Menderes i guess the airport code is ABN and instead of jumping from one travel website to the other, try http://farechase.yahoo.com it searches all websites on the net for you in one hand and so that you would be aware of any flights between those dates, plus it has hotel choice option too. have great fun when u go to Izmir or somewhere over there and donbt forget to eat Boyoz with baked eggs and also gevrek stuff...regards..

You could try Airtours (My Travel), Thomas Cook or First Choice. They all fly to Bodrum-Milas & Dalaman airports & then you could get the bus to Izmir, or get the tour company transfer bus to Altinkum or Didim & get your b/f to meet you there. The season ends Oct & then after that there'll only be scheduled flights to Turkey, no more cheap charters until Spring 2007. Good Luck
