That would be the time I went out for a meal, got drunk out of my head, ruined my outfit don't ask what I was doing rolling around the street; just don't, got ripped off by the taxi driver. Lost my mobile phone and only found it again when I had bought a new one, all in all a pretty expensive dining out experience.

Are more males than females answering this question?

I spent £130 on a meal for two in a Japanese restaurant. A little serving of rice, a massive king prawn...unlike any that ive seen before and some salad. My companion had something similar. The servings were very small, but really nice & tasty.

At the end of the night, we went to get fish and chips cause we were both hungry lol.

Very nice French restaurant. (The chef had an extremely heavy accent. During the course of the evening he came out to great the guests and I had no idea of what he said. I just smiled and laughed at what I thought was a joke and he told the waiter to bring my date & I two bubblies on the house.) As for what we bought, it was a bottle of wine, 2 soups, 2 salads, a small dish of cavier to share, 2 entrees and 2 desserts.....total: $350.00 w/tip. It was very good, but that's definitely not something for every day!!!!!

The most expensive meal ever was dinner at Emeril's in New Orleans after which I found my car had been stolen from the parking lot. But I still love to go to New Orleans.

My husband and I paid about $60 US for a chateaubriand in Cabo San Lucas in 1986. That translated to about $200.00 in pesos at that time. Would have cost twice that in the States. Other than that, a porterhouse steak that brought tears to my husband's eyes, cost $55.00, in the Sage Room in South Lake Tahoe California. I guess we aren't exactly the big spenders!

At Mortons in Downtown Pittsburgh. Everything was ala carte and yes the alcohol helped increase the tab quite significantly. Our check came to $312.00. That is not including the tip. :)
