As long as you recognize it for what it is then go for it,still not sure why people are so hung up on the idea that you need to have this great emotional bond with someone to get enjoyment from each other. Must be the puritanical streak in some of us I guess,me I never understood it.Enjoy and when you're done if you can enjoy some more.

I don't see a question of "right" vs "wrong" here unless you are pretending to be (or feel) something that you are not (or don't feel).
It's probably stupid, though, if you otherwise really can't stand each other. I don't believe a couple has to necessarily share a lot of interests to be a good match. If you share values and life perspective and you support each other in your different interests that can be enough. But if you truly don't like each other, then by staying together, you are missing out on the possibility of something really great with someone else. Why not look for something with more of a future?

As long as the "can't stand each other" feeling is mutual, go for it. If not, it really isn't fair to the other person.
I find that kind of relationship good every once in a while. No emotions, so you can experiment and play like you otherwise may not.
