Most pickpockets that I saw are often found in churches and religious gatherings where enormous crowds are there. They make sign of the cross with their right hands while the left hands is on to the backpocket of the man beside him or to the bag of an old lady. Atheist would not even try going inside the church.
So, look for your Christian brothers, it's in one of them, if you lost it in the church. If in the mall or inside a public transportation then you may have sitted beside a man who believes in nothing but not necessarily an atheist (being an atheist is also a belief system). Atheist are busy working to disCREDIT your faith but not to track your credit card number.

Maybe. EVEN among the atheists, there are bad people. But since (self-proclaimed) Christians outnumber atheists, it's statistically more probable that the person who stole your credit card number is a Christian.

Please, stop hating your brother! You are no Christian if you stereotype people for their religion! So leave them alone!
