That's cute,and I love the name Bella.I grew up in the south,and if you didn't have a nickname you just weren't loved.LOL When I was growing up,my family started calling me "Pooch",which came from touche,which in french means touch.I'm Cajun french,and french was all we spoke at home.As a child,like most children I was always wanting to touch things I wasn't supposed to,and was always told "DON'T TOUCH".Being little I guess the touche was the only thing I heard,so I ran around saying touche.Some friends of my families that didn't speak french,thought I was saying"POOCH".Only family members were allowed to call me that.After I got about 12 or 13,I was called "SOLIEL",French for sun/sunshine,and that is what my husband and everyone else calls me.I call my husband,"Etoile" which means"Star",because he is my star.We have so many nicknames in our family,I could write a book.I don't think nicknames are stupid at all,they mean you're loved.God bless you and "Miss Bella".

My mother calls me Kritter, I got over hating it.
My girlfriend calls me Goofy, I hate it.
She also calls me Kritter Dawn Dish Detergent, hate that even more.
I've been called Dawny by some family.
My younger brother Mike calls me Jack---, Love ya too Mickey.
In high school I called my girlfriend Ghetto Boi, I was afraid to tell anyone she was a girl.
I also call my girlfriend Kimi, Kimi Cub, and Jjai, her father's names starts with a J and her mom wanted to name her after him if she was a boy.
I was called Kitty for a while, I had/have a temper.
My nephew's name is Skyeler, I call him Skye or Kye (Kai).
I call my sis Tibbi, had problems with saying Tabby when I was younger and it stuck.
I call my baby brother, Eric, who is sixteen, Little Man. He has always been really short.
I call my mom Mum, she hates it.

I don't use nicknames. But people do use them on me and here's a list.
My name actual name is Diley pronounced Delay. (yes, as in late to the terminal) I get many name pronounciations so they end becoming nicknames.

My daughter is selena and we called her "nana" but she is now 6yrs old and tells me not to call her the baby name anymore! My other daughter is keira and we call her "kiki" and sometimes "baby-girl", she comes to that. My son was nicknamed "smiley" by my father when he was little for the obvious reasons and my other son is "booboo" just because he was so chubby when he was little (hes now 10yrs old and is a skinny,lanky young man)

When my son was newborn I used to call him monkey. When he was in his carseat he would pull his legs up but let his arm hang down like a monkey...... this was until I heard that Monkey is a slang term for a womans ... well you know!! lol Now i just call him papa and my daughter mama.
