Sounds a bit like tonsillitis or pharyngitis - both give you a REALLY sore throat with dots and gunk and both make you feel ill!
Or could just be a nasty cold virus...
Antibiotics won't necessarily help a virus, which is what these infections are, though they will help deal with any secondary bacterial infections that may have occurred, - ask the doctor if that's what it is - like the gunk you've found blocking your ear canals etc.
As a first line of defence, try gargling with soluble aspirin - this will help to clear the infection and the white dots and also soothe the throat. If you swallow the aspirin after you've gargled with it, make sure not to take any other products containing painkillers until the four hours is up.
If your throat is really sore, you'll need something sronger than strepsils so try Merocaine (this is an antiseptic anaesthetic throat sweet, legal in the UK). It should numb your throat enough to let you get plenty of fluids down you without wincing! Hot blackcurrant Ribena is great if you're feeling rotten and any drink packed full of vitamin C (orange juice, soluble vitamin C etc) will go some way towards clearing your head.
You can also try TCP pastilles, which are mildly antiseptic and quite soothing. If your ear canals are blocked badly, take a decongestant like 'Sudafed Stuffy' which should help clear them out a bit. Sleeping with an extra pillow to raise your head can also help unblock gunked-up ears.
Hope you feel better soon!

Sounds like strep throat. Take some paracetamol, and if you're really worried or have a fever for more than 3 days see a doctor to get some antibiotics. That mucus could be your tonsils, they look pretty funny when they are infected.

The visible blockage is pus or other infected matter which forms in blisters on the back of your throat. The Eustachian tubes that run from throat to ears are inflamed and swollen, causing the ear blockage.
Get someone to take you to the doctor...where are your folks! You must have a fever...you need medical attention soonest.
