Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place desired number strips of bacon on broiler pan. Cook for 10 minutes depending upon the degree of crispness desired. Prepared in this way, turning and draining are both unnecessary.

If you listen to orangeye, you are going to have the nastiest soggy bacon ever. If you want to microwave it, you need to put it on a couple of paper towels for about 3 minutes. 20 seconds will make it all limp and gross. Baking it in the over in a good idea, but I recommend using a broiler pan to drain the fat. WIthout that, the bacon will take longer to cook. It should only take about 7-8 minutes at a higher temp. Check the bacon package for directions. The thicker your bacon, the longer it will take.

Put the bacon on an elevated rack, such as a cookie cooling rack. Set this rack and the bacon on a cookie sheet to catch the grease. This will keep the pieces from sitting in their own fat. It will also ensure that the "most" fat is rendered from the pieces. Cook them 350 for 5-10 min. Keep and eye on them. Once they start cooking, it doesn't take long for them to get done. Baking bacon in the oven this way will produce the "best" bacon you will eat and less fat!!!! Microwave just crisps it up and it usually tastes terrible.

Don't bake bacon. Put it in the microwave for about 20 seconds.

I have no advice but this: Be careful with your oven. The grease will splatter, and it will smoke. I've tried it before, and ended up with some stinky bacon.

Put it on a broiler pan, under the broiler for about 3-4 minutes and keep an eye on it.
